In memory of Ivy

Ivy Patricia Bazell sadly passed away on 27th October aged 90 years.

Ivy had an eventful life, born in London and living most of her life in Camden.  She was a talented dressmaker for a number of haute couture establishments in the West End until she had her children, Neil in 1960 and Janet in 1965.  Ivy was involved in running a number of clubs, a youth club and OAP club and took the younger children on trips to the coast and cinema while on the tenant’s association where she lived.

Ivy and her family moved to Tring in 1975 where she was a well-known face, especially at Tring School where she worked for over 25 years and continued to work there well into her retirement. Ivy was a regular in her favourite store M&S which she dedicated her custom to for over 50 years. Ivy also enjoyed luncheon visits to RAF Halton with her husband Sid and made a number of friends meeting on a monthly basis.

Ivy was an adored wife to Sid, Mother to Neil & Janet and Grandmother to Jordan, Zac, Zeb & Zascha.  Ivy will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
